The front desk manager was less than nice and decided to put us in the first floor basement looking room clearly did it on purpose because we were not happy when we walked in the sloppy dirtiness of the hotel. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law decided to mention it out loud so he decided that he was going to put us all the way up by the pool where the rug is torn through the hallway is all ripped up when we get in the room. It looks like a piece of garbage this manager should be fired by the corporation that owns this building. The room is a disaster run people run don’t ever come here. Even after complaining and asking for a room on the second or third floor he played a false game and said the hotel was booked solid laugh out loud. I spoke to the staff lots empty rooms.

Filthy, Moldy, Cock roaches, rude staff, need I say more? Agree with all the other negative reviews here. How this property has any positive reviews is beyond me. I checked in then checked right back out after I saw the condition of the property

Absolutely gross and disturbing. Roaches everywhere I actually couldn’t believe my eyes . Unfortunately I checked in late so I had to spend the night . Room was humid and smelled like mold and everything felt damped . Bed had stains all over the sheets and pillows . I slept on the coach fully clothed . Stay away from this place . The staff was horrible especially the manager and also some Indian guy who had a napoleon complex . I spoke to guy at night for a later check out because my Uber was coming late . He said it was okay to check out at 1 . Next morning they kept banging on my door threatening for me to leave .

The hotel exterior doesn't look bad. Step inside the lobby on a hot, humid summer evening and find that there is no air conditioning in the lobby or the hallways. Check in was friendly and quick. Upon locating my room, a fellow traveler was pointing out mildew on the ceiling in the hallway. Things weren't much better in the room. The air conditioning was subpar. In fact, the rug was damp from the amount of humidity. I notified the front desk about the air conditioning. They told me to lower the temperature to 60°, which "usually helps". The air conditioner turned itself on and off all night. Between that and the old dilapidated mattress I was on, I got very little sleep. I woke up with pain in my low back and hip from the mattress. The room was not spotless. Cobwebs and dirt in corners of the bathroom floor. No microwave, no refrigerator, no free continental breakfast, no pets allowed. I realize not all hotels offer these things. But this place needs to perhaps offer these amenities to give them a reason to charge what they did....over $250. At checkout, it was already hot and humid in that lobby. I couldn't imagine what it would have been like for someone who has respiratory conditions to attempt to stay here. This hotel doesn't come close to the standards of a Clarion. Stay elsewhere.

After a very long travel day I booked a room at this hotel arriving past midnight. Check in process was slow and cumbersome. Several guests reporting problems getting keys to the work delayed all checking. My checkin took 15 minutes or more and my key did not work. Instead of a new key, the clerk said they would let me in each time I needed access and would have maintenance check lock the next day. That was inconvenient for sure. The room was dated but clean. Bed was ok. Bathroom was clean but not modern. I definitely did not like to need front desk help to access the room. The hotel is very old and run down. The elevator made me wonder if safe. It is quite close to Islip airport and has free shuttle. Those are big selling points. The rate was $240 which was $150 too much for my experience there, but they had a room and I had a need. I cannot recommend this hotel except for proximity to the airport.
